You are a traveler, tired and hungry, wanting shelter for the night, but there appears to be none in this harsh, cold northland. Suddenly, you spot a tiny light up ahead. At last! Feeling hopeful, you rush toward it. Soon you are on the edge of a huge circle of pine/evergreen trees. One tree, almost next to you, has the light hanging from a branch. Then a voice speaks. 'Are ye friend or foe?' 'Friend!' you answer wearily. Then a long rope ladder, almost reaching the ground, is lowered down to you, a long with a rope. You begin to climb, and after a while, you reach a platform. A squirrel is there waiting for you. 'Coom in, mah friend!' he says, leading you into another tree, in to a neat little room complete with bed, bathroom, and kitchen. You fall gratefully into the bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

At mealtimes, every creature here swarms across the bridges to get a place at the feasting table. off the side of the feasting hall is a medieum sized study for the elders.
